IFOS and JAPAN

IFOS traces its roots to Japan’s proposal during the 8th International Congress of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, held in October 1965 at Tokyo, Japan.

Since its foundation, IFOS has been at the forefront in contributing to the field of oto-rhino-laryngological medicine and connecting societies worldwide. It would be our great pleasure to host the 2026 conference in Japan, the birthplace of IFOS.

Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery

We have the largest number of the members in Asia and are academically and globally active.
